Guide: Leagues and Seasons — The Path to the Top

The Hierarchy of Speed

In Race Manager, you don't just participate in individual races; you build a career within a global league system. The entire racing world is divided into divisions: from regional series to the elite world championship.

Season Structure

Each season in a league is a series of Grands Prix held on various tracks around the world.

  • Calendar: Generated automatically at the beginning of each season. Races are usually scheduled for weekdays so that managers can prepare for the stages.
  • Conditions: Weather conditions and available tire compounds are predetermined for each race.
  • Points: Awarded according to the classic system for finishing in the top 10. Additional points are also provided for the fastest lap in the race.

Monitor the standings — every point can be decisive at the end of the season.

Promotion and Relegation

The most interesting things happen at the end of the season:

  • Breaking Through: Teams finishing in the top three of the overall standings (Constructors Cup) earn the right to be promoted to the next, more prestigious division.
  • Battle for Survival: Teams at the bottom of the table (usually the last 3 places) risk being relegated to a lower division.
  • Prize Payouts: At the end of the season, all participants receive financial payouts according to their positions. The higher you are in the table, the larger your budget for developing the car for next year.

Off-Season

When the last race is completed:

  1. Results are summarized, and prizes are paid out.
  2. Lists of teams for promotion and relegation are determined.
  3. The new season calendar is generated.
  4. Points are reset, but your technological progress and staff experience remain with you!

💡 Tip: Competition is much tougher in the upper divisions, but sponsorship payouts are also significantly higher there. Sometimes it's more beneficial to spend one season in the middle of a top-tier league than to dominate a junior series.

Prepare for the long marathon and become a legend of the top division!
