Race Manager Update 1.5.9

This major update focuses on the core racing experience, introducing deep physics mechanics that reward strategic driving and realistic track conditions.

[NEW] Racing Engine & Physics

  • Physics Evolution: We've overhauled the race engine with four key mechanics:
    • Slipstream: Following a car closely now provides a realistic aerodynamic boost.
    • Track Evolution: The track now "rubbers in" during the race, gradually increasing grip on the racing line.
    • Lock-up Vibrations: Severe tire lock-ups now cause vibrations (flat spots), affecting car handling and stability.
    • Aquaplaning: Driving through heavy water on track now carries the risk of losing control due to aquaplaning.
  • Driver Radio: Experience the heat of the race with real-time radio messages from your drivers and strategic pit stop requests.
  • New Staff Role: Introducing the Physiotherapist. This professional is essential for specialized driver training and fitness management.

[UPDATE] Results & Interaction

  • Race Results: The post-race summary table has been redesigned for better clarity and detail.
  • Lap of Honor: Drivers now perform a celebratory lap after crossing the finish line.
  • Enhanced Chat: You can now react to messages, delete, or edit your posts in the global chat.
  • Immersion: Added high-quality sounds for pit stop sequences.
  • Data Optimization: Race logs are now stored for 7 days (instead of the full season) to improve system performance.
  • VSC Notice: The Virtual Safety Car has been temporarily disabled while we address a bug related to vehicle braking logic.

[FIX] Bug Fixes

  • Standings: Corrected the behavior of the standings table during the final moments of a race.
  • Survival Cup: Resolved logic issues preventing proper progression in the Survival Cup.
  • Blue Flags: Improved backmarker behavior; lapped cars now yield more predictably under blue flag conditions.
  • Staff Logic: Fixed a bug where staff skills were not being calculated correctly in certain scenarios.
