We are excited to unveil the massive 1.6.3 update! This release brings a fundamental evolution to engineering with separate cars for each driver, a high-speed street circuit in Madrid, the new "Reaction" driver skill, in-depth race telemetry, gamepad support, and a complete revamp of sponsor contracts.
[NEW] New Features & Content
- Two Separate Cars per Team: Each driver now races with their own dedicated car. You can independently configure, upgrade, and install parts for Car 1 and Car 2.
- New Circuit — Madrid: A brand new, fast-paced street circuit in the Spanish capital featuring high-speed straights and challenging technical sectors.
- New Driver Skill — Reaction: Directly determines grid start performance, Safety Car restart timing, and pit stop release speed. Includes new race start events: “Perfect Start” and “Wheel Lockup”.
- Parc Fermé Rules: Once you confirm your race entry, Parc Fermé regulations take effect — modifying or installing new parts is locked until the end of the race.
- In-Depth Race Telemetry: Detailed post-race and live telemetry data showing pace, tire degradation curves, engine modes, and sector splits per lap.
- Team Hall of Fame: A dedicated history page celebrating your greatest drivers, championship titles, victories, and historic team milestones.
- Gamepad Support: Full controller support allowing you to manage race strategy, driver pacing, and radio commands using your gamepad.
- Favorite Track: Every driver now has a preferred circuit where they gain a natural morale and confidence boost.
- Simulator Track Knowledge: Train your drivers on specific circuits in the Simulator building to enhance setup adaptation ahead of the race weekend.
- Push Notifications: Stay on top of race schedules, qualifying sessions, and team events with browser and mobile push alerts.
- Chat Polls: Create and participate in interactive polls in global and league chats.
- Referral System: Invite your friends to Race Manager and earn rewards as their teams progress.
[UPDATE] Gameplay & Balance
- Sponsors & Win Streaks:
- Expanded variety of race performance bonuses: Top-5 Qualifying finish, Double Points finish (both drivers in top-10), Fastest Lap, and Clean Weekend (no DNFs or collisions).
- Performance Streaks: Fulfilling a sponsor target across 3 consecutive races unlocks a Jackpot Bonus (x2).
- Interactive Contract Extensions: Driver and staff contract negotiations have been transformed into interactive agent dialogues.
- Scouting Expiration: Scouted rival driver and staff data is now accurate for 1 month, after which a re-scout is required for fresh info.
- Practice & Weather Mechanics: Practice setups now dynamically scale with installed part levels as well as track temperature and weather conditions.
- Weather Station Level 10: The maximum level for the Weather Station building is expanded to level 10, unlocking a 30-lap forecast horizon with zero error margin and second-window weather previews.
- Engine Modes & Spins: Removed accidental driver spins that were solely triggered by high engine modes.
- Season Recap Page: Rebuilt and modernized the end-of-season summary screen.
- Audio Overhaul: Added immersive in-game sound effects for team radio, pit lane action, and track events.
