Update 1.6.1: Weather Station, Le Mans & Physics Rebalance

Race Manager Update 1.6.1

In this update, we are excited to introduce new strategic possibilities with the Weather Station headquarters building, the legendary French circuit in Le Mans, VK authentication integration, and a massive rebalance of race battle physics, parts wear, and the impact of fitness and tire condition on your pace.

[NEW] New Features & Content

  • Weather Station: A new building in your Headquarters! It provides weather forecast data during the race, helping you anticipate rain and select the right tire compounds in advance.
  • Legendary Le Mans: A new iconic track in France — Le Mans (Circuit de la Sarthe). Test your cars on the long straights and high-speed sections of this historic venue.
  • VK Authentication: For the convenience of our users, we have added quick authentication via the VK social network.

[UPDATE] Physics & Gameplay

  • Rebalanced Duels: Increased the impact of engine power during attacks, and balanced the random factor between attack and defense.
  • Dynamic DRS: DRS acceleration is now dynamic, scaling with the difference in engine power instead of being a flat boost.
  • Driver Condition Impact: Morale now scales overall strength in percentages, and low fitness imposes significant penalties on both attack and defense.
  • Tires & Parts Wear: High tire wear reduces defensive efficiency, and all car parts now experience dynamic wear based on specific track features.
  • Overtakes & Contacts: Collision probability now scales with the aggression levels of both drivers, and the overall overtake frequency is more realistic.
  • Track-Based Mistakes: Drivers make fewer mistakes on simple tracks and perform more errors on demanding, highly technical circuits.
  • Sprints XP: Drivers now receive a small percentage of XP in sprint races based on their finish position.
  • Speedometer is Back: The speed indicator has returned to the race screen (can be disabled in settings).
  • Mobile UX: Refined the race management control panel design for mobile screens.
  • Achievements: Updated the achievements page design and logic.
  • Sponsor Reset: Sponsor contracts now reset when advancing to a new season.
  • Auth Changes: Disabled Google and Telegram login due to Russian regulatory compliance (Federal Law No. 149-FZ). Please use VK or other login methods.

[FIX] Bug Fixes & Optimization

  • Performance: Improved race simulation and rendering performance on mobile devices.
  • Overtaking Physics: Fixed critical issues and anomalies in the overtaking logic.
  • Spin Recovery Bug: Previously, after spinning, the car received a -15% speed penalty for 33 seconds, and a new spin could trigger during this recovery time, leading to a snowball effect. Fixed: recovery time has been reduced to ~15 simulation seconds, and the probability of spinning again during recovery is minimized.
  • Safety Car Behavior: Corrected car behavior and spacing during Safety Car periods.
  • No-Entry Control Bug: Fixed an issue where team controls for drivers would disappear if no race entry application was submitted.
  • Overtaking Quest: Fixed a bug that prevented the overtaking quest from registering progress properly.
  • Fast Agent Sale: Fixed a bug that blocked the quick sale of an agent after an unsuccessful auction.
  • Pit Stop Times: Fixed incorrect pit stop duration displays on the track information page.
